Making an Appointment

Obtaining Health Care at Student Health

Clinical services with the physicians are provided by appointment only. To make an appointment:

  • Call ext. 4966 to speak with an assistant who will then make you an appointment.
  • We cannot set-up appointments by e-mail.
  • If you are not able to make your appointment please call and cancel so that we can give your appointment slot to another student.
  • Student Health does not file or bill health insurance. Our services are available to all eligible students regardless of the type of health insurance owned.

Are We Booked?

What to do if you feel you need an appointment and we are all booked up:

The most common reason students seek health care is for "colds" (viral upper respiratory infections). During certain times of the year, the demand for appointments greatly exceeds the availability. Given that there is no cure for the common cold we ask that students consider self-treatment for these types of illnesses. Additionally, we have cold self-care kits, which students can obtain by walking-in and requesting.
